  • Paying students on 6–12 month plans
  • 20 classroom games, live and multiplayer
  • Multi-teacher by design
Everything a teacher runs

One place for the whole school

Built with a working English school, not in a vacuum: every feature exists because a teacher needed it in a real week of classes.

  • Students and classes

One roster for private students and small groups, with join codes, approvals and a full history per student.

  • Attendance

Take the register for a whole class in seconds, with notes and the four skills practised in each lesson.

  • Tuition and reminders

Plans, discounts and payments in one place, with automatic tuition reminder emails.

  • Homework, feed and report cards

Assign homework with attachments, post to the class feed, and publish report cards students can read.

  • Placement and needs analysis

Level new students with a placement test and a needs-analysis questionnaire before the first class.

  • Flashcards with spaced repetition

Vocabulary decks scheduled with FSRS, so each student reviews the right words on the right day.

  • 20 classroom games

Shared-screen games for the classroom plus realtime multiplayer rooms and ranked matches for practice at home.

  • AI lesson planner and assistant

Teachers draft lesson plans and get help preparing classes, using what they know about each student.

AI in the classroom

Claude helps the teacher and the student, not just the back office

Through the Ocean Words MCP server, Claude works with the real data of each class — levels, goals, attendance and vocabulary — so what it writes fits the people in the room.

For teachers

  • Plan each lesson from the student’s needs analysis, level and the skills practised in past classes.
  • Turn class vocabulary into flashcard decks and homework in a sentence.
  • Draft report-card comments from attendance and notes, then review and send.
  • Handle the admin — register, tuition, announcements — by chat, without opening a form.

For students

  • Fresh reading every day at CEFR A2, B1 or B2, written by Claude and checked before it reaches them.
  • Flashcards from their own classes, scheduled with spaced repetition.
  • Classroom games and multiplayer practice that reuse the same vocabulary.
Built on Claude

Claude does the work that used to eat a teacher’s evening

Ocean News: graded reading, written every night

Every night a Claude Routine connects to the Ocean Words MCP server, takes the day’s headlines and rewrites each story at CEFR A2, B1 and B2. Our server checks every version for readability and for the source’s key facts before saving it as a draft, so the teacher only curates.

Running in production today, through the same MCP server described below.

Run your school from Claude, over MCP

Ocean Words hosts a remote MCP server. A teacher connects it to Claude, signs in once on our consent page, and Claude can work with her school — and only hers: every tool acts as that teacher’s account.
